For this Uni project, I worked extensively with TV Producers, Scriptwriters, and fellow Interactive Media students in order to bring a webisode series to life. I worked closely with the producers in order to ensure that the vision of the website would match with the webisode series.
I took charge of the social media side, taking up a viral campaign on both Facebook and Twitter. Within the members-only section, users were treated to a look at Francis’ (one of the characters) desk. This interactive desk lets the reader piece together clues from the main story and deepens the mystery of it all. A sense of the physical when dealing with purely digital is something I adore, and creating the interactive desk was incredibly enjoyable.
The website had to be functional, too, and I worked with a programmer to ensure that a full members system was integrated and working. Being signed up allowed the user access to additional content. The website also was designed to be accessible on iPhone/iPod.
