Tom approached me and asked me to make a logo for his Uni Final Major Project, the iOS Augmented Reality game TowAR Defense.
Running with the sci-fi themes in the game and the futuristic feel of the AR technology, I created the logo as well as iOS icons for the store, retina screens, and all the rest. The main inspiration for the logo came from the classic game Metal Gear Solid and its logos.
Adam came to me asking for a logo for his Uni dissertation project, QRAuth. Using the font CODE as a base, I then painstakingly tweaked each gap, height, and point on the typeface in Fireworks, slicing off the corner of the R and bringing up the leg.
I’m quite proud of the way the top line of the arrow, the inside of the R, and the middle of the A all match up subtly. Furthermore, the two lines come together to support the H and the word AUTH. It’s a visual metaphor, ya dig?
And now an iPhone icon to go with it:
I created a brand new logo for the superb band CLAAM, and then crafted them a super Tumblr theme so they can leverage the awesome social capabilities of Tumblr.
The logo was based on american muscle cars, something I’ve wanted to do for ages. And then this project landed in my lap. Go check them out. ‘Gateways’ is a personal favourite of mine.
